Episode 178: Pitfalls But Promise. The State of Healthcare Cybersecurity with Scott Mattila, COO & Chief Security Officer, Intraprise Health
February 8, 2023
The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI), a non-profit multistakeholder association representing providers, health plans, vendors, standards organizations, and government, is conducting the survey below to obtain information and perspectives on two Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed rules: “Advancing Interoperability and Improving Prior Authorization Processes”, published on Dec. 13, 2022; and “Adoption of Standards for Health Care Attachments Transactions and Electronic Signatures” published on Dec. 21, 2022. By issuing these proposals, the government is seeking to streamline data exchange between payers and providers, reduce administrative burden on providers, and improve the care delivery process for patients.
If you are not the person responsible for prior authorization and attachments, please share this to the appropriate colleague within your organization.
