US Regulatory mandates have embraced and incorporated the FHIR standards into the future rules of Payer to Payer, No Surprises Act (Price Transparency), and Prior Authorization, which will increase the volume and complexity of exchanged data between payers and other Healthcare organizations to unprecedented levels. In this session Smile CDR will discuss technology options on how this significant transformation for Payers can be achieved. Presented by Adam Cole and Drew Hannah.
Complying with the transformation regulation such as the Interoperability Rule, Transparency in Coverage and No Surprises Act is challenging. We are opening up our organizations to third party developers. Often, meeting a compliance date has meant compromising the completeness of the solution. We believe one of the keys to cost effective compliance is delivering self-service solutions. Adding headcount to answer phones and emails is not the right answer. Delivering better user experiences for both our partners and our employees is essential to meeting our mission to improve health outcomes.
